The National Bank of Fiji was set up by the Government of Fiji to provide banking services to the people of Fiji concentrating on the rural markets where commercial banks found it unprofitable.οΎ  In 1999 Colonial Fiji Life Ltd purchased minor shareholding from the Government of Fiji and the trading name became Colonial National Bank.

Purchase of Residential Land
Entry Conditions
  • For land being acquired Housing purposes only.
  • Principal applicant must be at least 21 years old.
  • Minimum loan available is $10,0000. Maximum loan available is 80% of the cost or valuation by the Bank or approved panel of professional valuers, whichever is lower.
  • Equity contribution is 20% of the cost.
  • Repayment term up to 7 years.

Repayment
  • Repaid on monthly basis over a maximum period up to 84 months (7 years).
  • If the term of the loan extends beyond retirement age then the ability to service the debt beyond retirement must be clearly demonstrated.
