Value Health Benefits
The Value Health Plan covers you for:

• Hospitalisation, Day Care and Surgical and Medical treatment in any government public hospital or  
• Day Care, Hospitalisation and Surgical and Medical treatment in a Colonial preferred local private hospital, if condition cannot be treated in any local government public hospital.

• If treatment is available in a public government hospital and you prefer to be treated in Colonial's preferred local private hospital for day care surgery or inpatient hospitalisation, a daily allowance of $50 per day of admission will be paid.
• Air Transportation Subsidy of $100 per trip limited to 2 trips per confinement in a Colonial preferred local private hospital.
• After one continuous year of cover a Loyalty Benefit will be applicable entitling you to Funeral cover of $1500.

Age at entry
For the primary insured, age at entry is 18 years and the maximum age is 65 years of age at next birthday. For dependent insured minimum age is 6 months to 18 years age next birthday or 25 years age next birthday if a full-time student. Cover will extend to 75 of age next birthday provided cover and premium continues without a break to age 74.

Optional Benefits

• Dental & Optical Benefit (12 month waiting period). A registered Dentist or Optometrist in either Fiji, Australia or New Zealand can provide services.
• Allied Services Benefit (12 month waiting period). The services of the following specialists are covered: Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist, Chiropractor, Dietitian, Osteopath, Occupational Therapist, Orthoptist, Podiatrist, and Speech Therapist.
• Overseas Evacuation to New Zealand or Australia if the condition CANNOT be treated in Fiji. Evacuation requires prior approval from Colonial Health Care.
• Priority Outpatient Care
• Health Pac which is combination of Priority Outpatient Care and Specialist & Diagnostic Services
